Messina Line operates specialised liner services connecting the Mediterranean, Africa, the Middle East, and India with regularity, reliability, and safety. Operational excellence meets a tangible commitment to sustainability: we continuously invest in energy efficiency, assess biofuel usage, and operate under a UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system. We aim to reduce our impact and lead the sector toward a more responsible future.
Fleet
The largest vessels in our fleet have a capacity of up to 80,000 tons (DWT) and 6,300 TEU. We also handle special cargo thanks to investments in proprietary equipment, including Mafi trailers, open-top units, and special platforms.
Routes
From our central hub in Genoa, Messina Line serves major ports across Mediterranean Europe, the East Med & Red Sea, East and South Africa, West Africa, the Arabian Gulf, and India. From these ports, we reach inland destinations through our end-to-end network.
Special shipments
Messina Line specialises in managing Project Cargo, including heavy and oversized loads, as well as refrigerated and perishable goods. Our vessels feature dedicated plugs for Reefer containers, and specialists manage temperature monitoring and control.
